The appeal was allowed by a Coordinate Benchby an order dated December 19, 2013. The DivisionBench directed the Land Acquisition Collector to passan award within a month from the date ofcommunication of the order to him and immediatelythereafter, to issue notice under Section 12(2) of theLand Acquisition Act, 1894 to the persons interested.

A contempt application has been taken outalleging wilful violation of the aforesaid order.

Let the contempt application be listed on14.12.2021.

Mr. Sengupta, learned Advocate appearing forthe State/Contemnors submits that he is handicapped inasmuch as he does not have the relevant papers andpleadings.
