The present petition has been filed seeking protection of lifeand liberty as the petitioners fear that respondents No.4 to 7 (parents andother relations of petitioner No.1) will cause them bodily harm as theirmarriage has been performed against their wishes.

Petitioner No. | is major and the same is proved by affidavit(Annexure P-1) submitted by her. Petitioner No.2 is also major and the sameis proved by his Adhar Card (Annexure P-2).

Be that as it may and without commenting upon the validity ofthe marriage between petitioners No. 1 and 2, I deem it appropriate to directrespondent No. 2 to ensure that life and liberty of the petitioners be protectedby providing them adequate protection. The representation (Annexure P-4)
