The value of the present suit for the
purpose of jurisdiction has been assessed at Rs.40,00,000/- (Rupees forty lacs only).
As per Notification No. HHC/PJ/93-I,
dated 17.10.2022 and Corrigendum dated06.12.2022, Court of Senior Civil Judge shall exercisethe jurisdiction in all Original Civil Suits, the value ofwhich does not exceed Rs. 60,00,000/- (Rupees SixtyLacs).
Since the present suit has been valued bythe plaintiff at the rate of Rs. 40,00,000/- (Rupeesforty lacs only), the same is transferred to the Court oflearned Senior Civil Judge, Shimla, District Shimla,H.P., who shall dispose of the same in accordancewith law. The parties are directed to appear before theaforesaid Court on 13.03.2023.
