The learned Senior Additional Advocate General on the basis of instructions imparted to him by the Sub Inspector, who is present in the Court, submits that the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not necessary, however, he may be directed to join the investigation as and when called for. Consequently, order dated 11.12.2008 is made absolute on the same terms and conditions. The petitioner shall join the investigation as and when called for by the police in writing. Accordingly, the application is disposed of.
