G P S C -------------------------------------------------------------- Appearance: MR PV HATHI for Petitioner Ms. Siddhi Talati for Respondent No. 1
-------------------------------------------------------------- CORAM : MR.JUSTICE S.K.KESHOTE
Date of decision: 15/10/97
On the direction of this court Ms. Siddhi Talati, learned counsel for the respondents, has produced for the perusal of the court the result of the selection of the petitioner for the post of Class I and Class II of the Administrative and Civil Services of the State of Gujarat held by the Gujarat Public Service Commission. From the result I find that the petitioner has not been selected for either of the aforesaid services. When the petitioner has not been selected for either of the services, the grievance which has been made in this special civil application only remains academic. The counsel for the petitioner has also been shown the result of the petitioner and after seeing that he prayed for withdrawal of this special civil application. To this prayer no exception can be taken either by the respondent's counsel or by this Court. The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner in case of any difficulty for revival of this petition. Rule discharged. Interim relief granted earlier by this Court stands vacated. No order as to costs.
