ORAL JUDGEMENT :

The petitioner has raised a dispute relating to his date of birth and his date of retirement. According to service records his date of birth is 27.4.1926. He his date of birth and his date of retirement. According to service records his date of birth is 27.4.1926. He would have, therefore, retired in April 1986.

2. However, he claimed that his date of birth is 22.5.1929, thus, he would retire in May 1989.

3. The petition was admitted and interim relief was granted to continue him in service till 31st May 1989.

4. In that view of the matter this petition has become infructuous. The petition is, therefore, dismissed. Rule is discharged. Interim relief is vacated.
