Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Government Advocate.

Petitioner seeking a direction to opposite party Nos. 3 and 4 to dispose of his application for settlement of the land for which an Encroachment Case No. 482 of 2003 was initiated with regard to Anabadi Khata No. 57 measuring an area Ac.0.38 dec.

It reveals from the record that a notice in form No. Ka was issued against the petitioner to file show cause in the aforesaid encroachment case. Pursuant to the said notice petitioner has filed application for settlement of the land which is pending before opposite party No.3.

Considering the above and without going into the merit of the case this Court disposes of the writ petition with an observation that in case the aforesaid application of the petitioner is still pending the same shall be disposed of as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three months on production of the certified copy of the order.
