ORAL JUDGEMENT

In this group of five matters, common questions are involved seeking, virtually, same relief. When the matters were called out, the attention of the Court was invited to a resolution of the Government dated 18.4.2000, a copy, whereof, is placed on record along with other papers. The petitioners are stated to be entitled to the benefits arising out of the aforesaid resolution. Therefore, no orders are required to be passed in this group of petitions, as the grievance of the petitioners has been redressed. However, it was stated that liberty may be reserved.

In the circumstances, this group of five petitions shall stand disposed of in view of the aforesaid Government resolution and the papers submitted along with it. In case of difficulty, liberty is reserved for revival. Rule shall stand discharged with no order as to costs.
