ORDER:-
This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners/A-1 and A-2 under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.213 of 2018 on the file of the learned II Additional Junior Civil Judge, Sattenapalli. The offences alleged are under Sections 188, 273 and 420 I.P.C. and Sections 58, 59 and 63 of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Public Prosecutor.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioners so also the learned Public Prosecutor would submit that the issue involved in the present case is squarely covered by the common order, dated 18.12.2019, of this Court in Criminal Petition No.5421 of 2019 and batch. He placed on record copy of the said order.
4. Since the issue involved in the present case is identical to the common order passed in Criminal Petition No.5421 of 2019 and batch, following the said order and in terms thereof, this Criminal Petition is allowed and the proceedings against the petitioners/A-1 and A-2 in C.C.No.213 of 2018 on the file of the learned II Additional Junior Civil Judge, Sattenapalli are hereby quashed.
5. Registry shall enclose a copy of the common order, dated 18.12.2019, of this Court in Criminal Petition No.5421 of 2019 and batch to this order.
Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
