The Court made the following ORDER:
The instant petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (in short, “Cr.P.C.”) has been filed by the Petitioner/ Accused, seeking quashment of the proceedings against him in C.C.No.2946 of 2019 on the file of the V Additional Munsiff Magistrate, Guntur, Guntur District.
2. Learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the petition may be disposed of since the relief has become infructuous.
3. Ms. K.Priyanka Lakshmi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the State/Respondent is in attendance.
4. In that view, the Criminal Petition is dismissed, since relief has become infructuous.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
