ORDER:
There is no representation for the petitioner today when the matter is called.
2. The writ petition is filed declaring the proceedings dated 17.12.2011 whereby the petitioner challenged the proceedings denying promotion from the Accountant Grade-III to Accountant Grade-II. The petitioner age was 55 years when the writ petition was filed. The petitioner is seeking a direction for effecting promotion as Grade-II Accountant with effect from 24.05.1989 and also seeks consequential benefits on account of the judgment of Hon’ble Supreme Court in the matter of Government of West Bengal & Others Vs Dr. Amal Satpathi & Others. The relief claimed by the petitioner cannot be considered by this Court.
3. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, in the Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
