HON’BLE SMT JUSTICE KONGARA VIJAYA LAKSHMI WRIT PETITION No.21290 of 2019

ORDER:

The inaction of respondents, in considering the candidature of the petitioner to the post of School Assistant Physical Science – Telugu Tribal Scheduled Division Teacher Recruitment (TRT and TET-cum-TRT), 2018, and extending the same benefit as was extended to BCA graduates vide G.O.Ms.No.15 dated 01.02.2019, is questioned in the writ petition as being illegal and arbitrary.

In response to the notification dated 26.10.2018 for the post of School Assistant Physical Science – Telugu Tribal Scheduled Division Teacher Recruitment (TRT and TET-cum-TRT), 2018, petitioner claims to have been selected for the said post and produced her originals during certificate verification but, however, her name was not notified in 2[nd]and 3[rd] phase of selection; and, therefore, she seeks a direction to extend the benefit of relaxation as was extended to BCA candidates through G.O.Ms.No.15 dated 01.02.2019.

Learned Government Pleader for Services-III submits that the representation made by the petitioner on 18.11.2019 would be disposed of in accordance with law.

Without going into the merits of the case, I deem it appropriate to direct respondent No.4 – District Collector, East Godavari, Kakinada to dispose of the representation dated 18.11.2019 made by petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
