2. The Court made the following ORDER:
The instant petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (in short, “Cr.P.C.”) has been filed by the Petitioners/ Accused Nos.1 and 2, seeking quashment of the proceedings against them in C.C.No.332 of 2017 on the file of the Special Judicial First Class Magistrate for Excise Cases, Guntur .
2. Learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that the petition may be disposed of since the relief has become infructuous.
3. Ms. K.Priyanka Lakshmi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the State/Respondent is in attendance.
4. In that view, the Criminal Petition is dismissed, since relief has become infructuous.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
