ORDER:
The petitioners’ prayer for writ of mandamus declaring the proposed action of respondents, particularly respondent No.3 in trying to assign the Punta land (cart track land) admeasuring 1384 sq. yards (260 links) in R.S.No.241-8 of Satyavada Village, Undrajavaram Mandal, West Godavari District to landless poor persons as illegal and for a consequential direction.
2. Learned Government Pleader for Panchayatraj representing respondent No.1, learned Government Pleader for Revenue representing respondent Nos.2 and 3 and Sri I. Koti Reddy, learned Standing Counsel representing respondent No.4 on instructions, would submit that at present neither the revenue department nor the Satyavada Gram Panchayat proposed to grant house site pattas to landless poor by resuming an extent of 1384 sq. yards in R.S.No.241-8 of Satyavada Village, Undrajavaram Mandal, as alleged by the petitioners and if really they contemplate to do so, certainly due process of law will be followed.
3. Recording the above submission, this Writ Petition is closed as no further orders are required at this juncture. No costs.
As a sequel, Interlocutory Applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
