ORAL ORDER
Dt:31.12.2020
Per J.K. Maheshwari, CJ
The solitary grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition, which is filed in the nature of public interest litigation, is that 830 beneficiaries have wrongly been deleted from the list of beneficiaries from Narsipatnam, who were originally identified by the respondents to register for TIDCO houses in their names under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Scheme; thereby depriving them of rom the benefit of constructed houses under the said scheme.
The fact regarding deletion of the names is required to be explained by individual persons by producing relevant documents, however, public interest litigation in this regard is not maintainable.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of with an observation that it is open to the persons so aggrieved to file petitions, ventilating their grievances, either individually or jointly. No order as to costs. As a sequel, all the pending miscellaneous applications stand closed.
