1. The revision is against an order striking off thedefence for not filing written statement within the time stipulatedunder the amended provisions of CPC. At the time when the casewas moved for admission, I directed the counsel to make thestatement ready to vouch for the bona fides of his plea that he hadgood reason not to file a statement and he was prepared to file thestatement. Counsel took time and it was adjourned to 11.12.2012 onthat day the counsel sought further time to comply with the directionsand hence it was adjourned to today. Today yet another counselappears and states that he does not know what was stated by theCourt at the previous hearing. There is no bona fide in the plea of thepetitioner and evidently he wants to gain time.
2. The revision petition is dismissed. The order impugned is confirmed.
