For the Petitioner :Mr. Rajesh Kumar, AdvocateFor the State:A.P.P.

03/16.12.2016: Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioner is an accused in a case registered under Sections 7/13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and has not accepted any bribe as has been alleged against him. The petitioner is a “Munsi” in the “Bank More Police Station”, Dhanbad. It has further been submitted that the verification report is also a table work done by the Anti-Corruption Bureau, as none of the officials has ever visited any office or the concerned place. It has also been submitted that when the complainant consulted the petitioner for doing certain illegal work, the same was refused by the petitioner and thereafter he has been implicated in this case by way of the present trap at the instance of the complainant out of his own grudge. Moreover, the petitioner is in judicial custody since 21.10.2016 and the charge-sheet in this case has already been submitted, therefore, his prayer for regular bail may be considered sympathetically.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the petitioner's prayer for bail.
