Heard Mr. S K Goswami, learned counsel, appearing for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. J Abedin, learned Standing Counsel, Education Department, Assam.Learned Standing Counsel submits that for implementation of the Court’s order, dated 2nd August, 1997 passed in WP(C) 4623/1997, process has already been initiated by the Government, but he has no instruction as to the progress of implementation of the same and prays for time to obtain necessary instructions inthis regard.

Prayer is allowed.
