By this application, the applicant has prayed for stay of the impugned judgment and award dated 23.12.2013 passed by the learned Member, MAC Tribunal, Sontipur, in MAC Case No.306 of 2009, thereby directing applicant to makepayment of Rs.3,39,000/- along with the interest @ 9% per annum from the date of institution of the case till realization.

Today the accompanying appeal has been admitted and records have called for.

After hearing learned CGC, this Court is of the opinion that it is a fit case for granting interim stay. Accordingly, it is ordered that the impugned judgment and award referred to above shall remain stayed during pendency of the appeal, subject to the condition that the applicant shall deposit 50% of the awarded amount with the Registry of this Court within a period of 2 (two) months from today.

With the above direction, this Misc. Case stands disposed of.
