Heard Mr. D.F.A. Ahmed, learned counsel appearing for the applicant/writpetitioner and Mr. P.Saikia, learned Standing Counsel, Secondary Education Department appearing for and on behalf of Respondents No.1 and 2.

Earlier the writ petitioner/application preferred a writ petition being W.P.(C) No.2670/2015 which was disposed of on 16.11.2015 directing the petitioner to file a representation before the Director of Secondary Education, Assam on or before 30.11.2015, and, in such event, the Director of Secondary Education shall take a decision thereon, on or before 20.12.2015.

The petitioner obtained the certified copy of the said order dated 16.11.2015 only on 11.12.2015 and, as such, has prayed for extension of time to enable him to file a representation before the Director of Secondary Education, Assam.

After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, the Court is of the view that time should be extended to as to enable the petitioner to file the represented, as directed.

Accordingly, the petitioner shall submit a representation to the Director of Secondary Education, Assam on or before 13.1.2016 and, in such event, the Director of Secondary Education, Assam shall dispose of the representation of thepetitioner on or before 29.02.2016.To that extent the order dated 16.11.201

5 passed in W.P.(C) No.2670 of 2015 stands modified.

The interlocutory application, accordingly, stands disposed of.
