Heard Mr. K K Bhatta, learned counsel for the applicant and G Khandilla, learnedcounsel for the respondent No.1/claimant.

On the submissions of the learned counsel for the applicant to the effect that 50% of the awarded amount of Rs.5,40,500/- is being deposited by the appellant with the Registrar General of this Court , it is directed that the aforesaid amount of 50% so deposited shall be released by the Registrar General in favour of the claimant/ opposite party No.1 on proper identification and verification in presence of the counsel for the parties within three weeks from today.The impugned judgment and award dated 8.12.2005 passed by the learned Member, MACT Darrang in MAC Case No. 5 of 2005 shall remain suspended till disposal of the connected appeal.

Misc. case stands disposed of.
