By filing I.A. No.02 of 2020, parties have filed a joint petition under Section 147 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (N.I. Act).

It is submitted that the Appellant and the Respondent have amicably settled the matter vide Compromise Deed marked as Annexure A1 to the petition.

The Compromise Deed is taken on record.

As the parties have compounded the matter under Section 147 of the N.I. Act which lays down that the offences under the N.I. Act are compoundable, Crl.A. No.27 of 2017 stands disposed of as compounded.
