1. The learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner places on record Order bearing reference No.20/CS/SKM/2024 dated 27.03.2024 (marked ‘Y’) passed by the Appellate Authority in appeal in a disciplinary proceeding against the petitioner. The learned Senior Counsel submits that in view of the Order passed by the Appellate Authority he is fully satisfied and does not desire to pursue this writ petition further.

2. The learned Senior Counsel also makes a fervent plea that the Government may be directed to make payment of his retirement benefits at the earliest as he has been suspended from the year 2017. This Court is confident that when an Order granting retirement benefits as indicated in the Order is passed by the Appellate Authority the Government would definitely consider disbursing the benefits at the earliest. The Writ Petition (C) No 39 of 2023 stands disposed as withdrawn.
