1. Pursuant to the notice issued by this Court the President-Mr. Menla Ethenpa and the General Secretary-Mr. Phurba Sherpa of Sikkim Football Association are personally present. They are not represented by a Lawyer. Opportunity was granted to engage a Lawyer. However, it is stated by them that they have already taken a decision to lift the ban imposed on the petitioner and therefore, they would not want to take the issue further.

2. The General Secretary of Sikkim Football Association submits that the earlier ban imposed on the petitioner would have no adverse effect on the petitioner. They will get the necessary points that they were entitled to and they are allowed to participate in the tournament.

3. In view of the categorical statement made before this Court the learned Counsel for the petitioner does not desire to pursue the matter any further and allow the petitioner to participate in the tournament instead. Needless to say all allegations and counter allegations made by the parties stands withdrawn.

4. The Writ Petition (C) No 38 of 2024 stands disposed as withdrawn along with the interim application.
