1. Heard Ms. K. Chisa, learned counsel for the petitioner who has submitted that this is an application for bail on behalf of the accused person, Smti Kimneikhol Khongsai who was arrested in connection with Khliehriat P.S. Case No. 64(6) of 2022 under Section 21(c)/22(a)/27(a)/29 of the NDPS Act and in another case being Khliehriat P.S. Case No. 65(7) of 2022 under Section 21(c)/29 of the NDPS Act.

2. At this juncture, Mr. N.D. Chullai, learned AAG has raised an objection as to the maintainability of this petition on the ground that a single bail application has been filed involving two separate cases when actually, separate bail application has to be filed.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has then submitted that the apparent defect may be allowed to be corrected by this application to be withdrawn and separate applications be filed.

4. Accordingly, on consideration of the submission made, this petition is hereby disposed of as withdrawn with liberty sought for allowed.
