This is an application for condonation of delay of 87 days in preferring the appeal against the impugned Judgment and Order dated 08.03.2024 passed by the learned Special Judge (POCSO), West Khasi Hills District, Nongstoin in Special (POCSO) Case No. 07 of 2021.
Mr. S. Sengupta, learned Addl. PP appearing for the State respondent has no objection to the prayer for condonation of delay. The reasons for delay stated in the application are also found to be satisfactory.
In view of the above, the delay of a period of 87 days in preferring the connected criminal appeal is condoned.
The application stands allowed.
