O R D E R (ORAL)
[1] Heard Mr. Ng. Jotindra, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners; Ms. L. Monomala, learned Government Advocate for respondent No. 1 and Mr. Y. Nirmolchand, learned senior counsel appearing for respondent No. 2 & 3.
[2] The prayers in the writ petition reads as follows :- Direct the respondents to relocate/rehabilitate the evicted shopkeepers and street vendors (members of association) at the vacant space of Lamphel Super Market Area at the time of proposed relocation of street vendors of Khwairamband Bazar.
AND
Direct the respondents, more particularly respondent No. 3 to consider and dispose the representation dated 18/09/2020 (Annexure-A/4) within a stipulated period.
[3] Mr. Ng. Jotindra, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Y. Nirmolchand, learned senior counsel appearing for the respondent No. 2 & 3 state that the authorities may be directed to consider the representation dated 18.09.2020 (Annexure-A/14) submitted by the petitioners to the Mayor, Imphal Municipal Corporation.
[4] In view of the above, the respondent No. 2 & 3 are directed to consider and dispose of the said representation submitted by the petitioners dated 18.09.2020 (Annexure-A/4) on its own merit within a period of 8 (eight) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Writ petition stands disposed with the above direction.
