ORDER

This petition is filed on the ground that the order dated 26.11.2021passed in WP No.25898 of 2021 has been disobeyed. In terms whereof, the respondents were directed to take a decision upon receipt of notice dated23.09.2021 within a period of 45 days and other directions.

Today a compliance report has been filed, which includes a copy of theorder dated 31.01.2024 passed by the respondent No.2 indicating that inpursuance to the notice as well as the order passed by the Division Bench inWP No.25898 of 2021 dated 26.11.2021 they have asked the petitioner toapproach them for necessary clarifications etc.

Therefore, we find that the order has been complied with.

However, the same has not been done within a period of 45 days. Infact, the respondents have taken almost two-and-a-half years to even respond tothe same. The time granted was 45 days. Hence, we deem it just and necessaryto direct the respondents No.1 and 2 to each pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- to thepetitioner within a period of one week from today.

The contempt petition is disposed off.
