These are the appeals filed by the appellants challenging the order,judgment and decree passed by the learned Additional District Judge in respectof the land acquired in village Bakkarwala. Section 4 notification was issued on15.10.1993 for public purpose namely for "water treatment plant of DwarkaProject". The Land Acquisition Collector made the award bearing No. 12/95-96@ Rs, 96,875/- per bigha. Upon reference under Section 18 of the Act the samewas enhanced to Rs.1,08,000/- per bigha by the learned Additional DistrictJudge. The assessment for the compensation has been challenged by both the land owners and the Land Acquisition Collector. It is admittedthat this court in the case of LA.APP. No.189/2006 titled Jai Singh & Ors. Vs. UOI decided on 25.5.2006 fixed the market value of the land acquired by the same award at Rs.1,32,000/- per bigha.
In view of the decision of Jai Singh (supra) the same are liable to be dismissed and as such dismissed leaving the parties to bear their own costs.
