VERSUS

Ghanshayam Thori, IAS & another

..... RESPONDENT

. . .

CORAM:HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE HARNARESH SINGH GILL . . .

PRESENT: - Mr. S.S. Salar, Advocate, for the petitioner.

. . .

Harnaresh Singh Gill,

Prayer in this contempt petition is for issuance of directions against the respondents for non-compliance of order dated 24.12.2018 passed in CWP No.40450 of 2018, as they have failed to decide the representation of the petitioner before the time fixed by this Court.

Notice of motion.

On asking of the Court, Ms. Rameeza Hakeem, Additional Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and submits that representation of the petitioner has already been decided and the polling has taken place on 30.12.2018.

In view of the above, present contempt petition is rendered as infructuous. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to challenge the order in accordance with law, if so advised.
