The present petition has been filed under Section 482Cr.P.C. for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to protectlife and personal liberty of the petitioners, relatives and friends ofpetitioner No.2 on the hands of respondents No.4 to 6 on the groundthat both of them are major and has contracted marriage on30.12.2014 against the wishes of respondents No.4 to 6.
Learned counsel for the petitioners prays that thepetitioners have moved an application dated 30.12.2014 for policeprotection to the Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana (Annexure P-5)but so far no protection has been provided. He pleaded that theCommissioner of Police, Ludhiana may be directed to consider thesaid representation and he did not press the other relieves asked forin the present petition.
Both the petitioners are present today in person before Crl. Misc. No.M-44570 of 2014

In view of the allegations mentioned in the petition, respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, 1s herebydirected to look into the representation/application of the petitionersdated 30.12.2014 (Annexure P-5) for the purpose of satisfyinghimself about the threat to the life and liberty of the petitioners andthen to take appropriate action as per law for providing policeprotection to the petitioners.
A copy of this order along with copy ofrepresentation/application (Annexure P-5) be communicated torespondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana. |
With the aforesaid direction, present petition 1sdisposed of, A copy of this order be supplied to the petitioners underthe signatures of Special Secretary of this Court as per rules.
