Through the medium of the instant petition, petitioner is seeking initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondents for having violated the interim Order dated 09.03.2020 passed by this Court in WP (C) No. 717/2020.
Learned counsel for the respondent has submitted that the main Writ petition stands dismissed in terms of Order dated 06.11.2023, the information updated on CIS, confirms this fact.
In view of the above, the interim order dated 09.03.2020 passed in the main Writ petition has merged with the final order passed in the Writ petition. Contempt proceedings, therefore, do not survive.
The petition is disposed of.
