Hon’ble Mr Justice Badar Durrez Ahmed, Chief Justice Appearance:

For the Petitioner(s) : None. For the Respondent(s) : Mr Tarun Sharma, G.A. i) Whether approved for reporting in Yes/No Law journals etc.:

ii) Whether approved for publication in press:

Yes/No

, I have examined the application, although the learned counsel for the applicant is not present, and, have also heard the learned counsel for the respondents.

,

The learned counsel for the applicants on the previous occasion has pointed out that the similar points are being argued before the Srinagar Bench in SWP No. 1281/2013 and other connected matters. In the present application, I find that all the respondents are official respondents and there would be no difficulty for the respondents, if the matter is transferred to the Srinagar Bench.

Consequently, this application is allowed. The matter stands transferred to the Srinagar Bench to be tagged alongwith the SWP No. 1281/2013 (Abdul Majid Dar v State of J&K and ors) and other connected matters before the appropriate Bench hearing the said matters.

(Badar Durrez Ahmed)
