CIVIL APPEAL None on 31 January 1981

In the opinion of this Court Counsel for the petitioner seems to be correct. From the tenor of the order itself as also the fact that the petitioner has clearly asserted the date of his retirement being 31.1.2001, the date of 31.1.1981 in the 9[th] line from the bottom at page 6 in the order of this Court dated 22.7.2010 in a typographical error and infact it has to be read as 31.1.2001.

That being so, the order of this Court dated 22.7.2010 shall stand modified to the aforementioned extent.
