IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT PATNA CrWJC No 859 of 1996 AJMERI KHATOON Versus STATE OF BIHAR & ORS

-----------

13

16.11.2009

The matter was brought under the heading To Be Mentioned on a slip mentioned by Shri Ashok Kumar Singh, Advocate.

Mr Ashok Kumar Mishra is present in the Court and states that as the petition has been disposed of, his authority in the matter stands terminated. However, Court feels that as the matter relates to an action taken by the Registrar General, after petitioner’s daughter attaining majority, Shri Ashok Kumar Mishra, learned Advocate should have no difficulty in granting no objection if payment is made as per application made to this Court. No objection granted by Shri Ashok Kumar Mishra, Advocate would in no way mean that he is either identifying the party or certifying the genuineness of her claim. Let it be recorded that Shri Ashok Kumar Singh was not associated with this case earlier but has now been instructed by the petitioner to do the needful in the matter.

Registrar General would take steps for proper identification before ordering release of the money.
