Petitioners claim themselves to be major. They have pleadedthat they have got married against the wishes of respondents no.4 and 5 andseek protection to their life and liberty, This Court has heard the learned counsel for the petitioners.

Pleadings on record have been perused.

The parents of petitioner no.2 are ready and willing to take the petitioners to their home.

Criminal writ petition is disposed of with a direction torespondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar Rural that incase any representation is filed seeking protection of life and liberty, thecontents thereof be duly verified and if necessary, requisite steps be takenStrictly in accordance with law for grant of protection of life and liberty tothe petitioners. It is clarified that this order shall not be treated as a stamp ofthis Court for marriage of the parties.

Criminal writ petition stands disposed of.
