ORAL ORDER

This case has been listed for orders. It appears that by judgment dated 23.11.2006 this writ petition was disposed of with directions to the State Government to act upon the recommendation of the B.P.S.C. and appoint the petitioner. It appears that the State was aggrieved by that order and preferred a Letters Patent Appeal without success. State then appeal to the Apex Court. The Apex Court heard the appeals and dismissed the Special Leave Petition by order dated 26.03.2012. The Apex Court however directed the petitioner (State) to immediately comply with orders of the High Court, failing which this Court was directed to initiate contempt proceeding. Pursuant to the order of the Apex Court, Government of Bihar in the General Administration Department have informed this Court vide Memo No. 6160 dated 27.04.2012 that orders of the Supreme Court have been 5 11-09-2012

complied with and the petitioner Shailendra Kumar Singh has been issued appointment letter under Memo No. 125 dated 04.04.2012. The copy of the letter of the State Government is appended to file appertaining to L.P.A. No. 624 of 2011 which is an entra court appeal against this writ order.

In view of the aforesaid, let compliance of the order of the Apex Court be noted and the case consign to record accordingly.
