2. The present application has been filed for modification of the order dated 23.08.2023 passed in Cr. Misc.No. 44807 of 2023 to the extent of extending the period ofsurrender.

On the grounds mentioned in the modification application, the period of surrender is extended by four weeksafter depositing Rs. 2000/- in the victim compensation fundfrom the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order inconnection with Madhuban P.S. Case No. 162 of 2023 pendingin the court of learned Special Excise Court No. 2 EastChamparan, Motihari.

4. The order dated 23.08.2023 is modified to theextent indicated above.
