The petitioner was allotted work for the construction of pucca drain on link road Dera camp to Nikowal via Sai vide allotment order dated 09.12.2011. Subsequently, in view of the exigency, some work was also executed by him for supplementary agreement to increase the quantum of work was approved vide allotment order dated 29.08.2017.

The petitioner submits that he completed the allotted work and his claims were duly verified and authenticated. But he respondents, however, despite repeated representations have not released the amount for the work executed by him. The amount being admitted the respondents have till date neither released the amount nor decided his representation.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would feel satisfied, if this petition is disposed of at this stage with a direction to the respondents to consider the entitlement of the petitioner for release of the admitted amount payable to the petitioner for the work done by him.

In view of the aforesaid, this petition is disposed of at this stage itself with a direction to the respondents to consider the entitlement of the petitioner for release of the admitted amount payable to the petitioner for the work done within a period of eight weeks from the date a copy of this order is made available to the respondents by the petitioner.

Disposed of along with connected application(s).
